Is Mendeecees still in jail? Yandy Smith and her fiancé Mandeecees (Mendeecees) Harris became the favorite couple on season three of “Love and Hip Hop New York,” but their fairly tale romance suffered a sad turn of events after Mandeecees was locked up for federal drug charges and child molestation charges which were later dismissed. The popular VH1 reality show is posed to return tonight for its fourth season, and many are hoping questions involving his fate will be answered soon. Yandy did a recent interview with ABC News Radio and she gave an update of her man’s status (he’s currently in prison). She says:
“Well, he hasn’t gone to trial yet. And he might not have to. So we’ll see. Everything is up in the air, but things are feeling positive.”
Yandy also talked about how she’s learning to live her life without the love of her life and being a single mother:
“You learn to adjust. You never like it. It never feels good sleeping by yourself, but you adjust. And that’s what I had to do. I had to adjust raising my little boy by myself. I had to adjust to sleeping alone at night. I had to adjust to the fact that we haven’t gotten married yet [and] a lot of the information wasn’t getting filtered to me the way that I wanted it to.
“Every single day it’s a new struggle. You know, running three businesses and being a single mom it’s taught me definitely how to multitask and it’s taught me how to prioritize.”
Keep your head up Yandy.
Aww I hope he gets out soon and stays out of trouble. He has kids who need him around.
Well he should have stayed out those damn streets. I don’t know why some people have to learn the hard way.
Love Yandy. Stay strong girl.
Yandy knew Mandeecees was street when she met him. No sympathy here.
People can change.
I hope he gets out and doesn’t go back to making bad choices.
I hope things work out for them.
I feel for Yandy a bit but this is what happens when you date a street dude. Yes people can change but sometimes things catch up with you and who is to say he wasn’t still in these streets maybe not heavy like he was but not all out.
