Kanye West claimed about a year or so ago that he doesn’t like doing interviews, but he’s been giving them left and right these days as if he’s had a change of heart. The newly engaged rapper has been opening up plenty about his high-profile engagement to reality star Kim Kardashian but his most recent comments about his fiancée are getting lots of criticism. During his interview on “On Air With Ryan Seacrest,” the rapper actually said that his boo is more influential than First Lady Michelle Obama. Interestingly enough, he says his proof is the fact that Michelle O can’t post a photo of herself showing the world her booty via a swimsuit like Kim did a week ago. He says:
“There’s no way Kim Kardashian shouldn’t be on the cover of Vogue. She’s like the most intriguing woman right now. She’s got Barbara Walters calling her like everyday. And collectively, we’re the most influential with clothing. No one is looking at what [Barack Obama] is wearing. Michelle Obama cannot Instagram a [bikini] pic like what my girl Instagrammed the other day.”
He also made it clear that it was Kim’s looks alone that made him want to be with her from the first time he ever laid eyes on her:
“I just knew I wanted her to be my girl for a long time. I remember I saw a picture of her and Paris Hilton, and I remember telling my boy, ‘Have you seen that girl Kim Kar-dijon?”
While Kanye claims he doesn’t say or do anything for the sake of getting publicity or being controversial, many have taken to social media to suggest they are starting to think otherwise.
Kim Kardashian is not more influential in clothing than Michelle Obama. Anytime Michelle wears a dress out to some event, it sells out. No one looks at Kim and wants to wear anything she puts on because she always looks cheap and slutty. And they aren’t influential in anything else either except a good laugh. My goodness they have really become the laughing stock of America.
That’s funny because when I pick up the top magazines on fashion, they are talking about what Michelle Obama wore. A top magazine just used Naomi Campbell to dedicate a whole spread to Michelle. Meanwhile Kim wear’s some of the most hideous garments I’ve ever seen. LOL. Kanye is hilarious.
Ok. It’s clear now that Kanye is trolling and saying all this stuff because he wants the attention. That man does not love Kim, he loves the attention that comes with being with Kim. When the hype dies down which it will, he will be looking for the next Kim K. I can’t believe I used to like him and support his music. Gross.
