R&B singer Chris Brown is once again dealing with some serious legal troubles and after his trip to DC resulted in him allegedly assaulting a man outside of a W Hotel, he was arrested for felony assault. The charge was later reduced to misdemeanor assault after police claimed they were getting conflicting reports on what happened, but Chris is still claiming that he did not punch the man contrary to reports. Although Chris’ camp is still claiming he did nothing wrong, he checked into anger management rehab and is expected to receive treatment for three months. Karrueche took to her Twitter account to claim the move wasn’t for publicity and isn’t “fake,” but many seemed to believe it’s just his way of trying to avoid jail. Interestingly enough, sources in the LA Probation Department are claiming that they aren’t impressed.

TMZ reports that officials from the LA Probation Department feel that Chris’ violent tendencies have worsened since his assault of Rihanna back in 2009, and they have reportedly had just about enough of the singer getting into trouble. They also tell the website that him checking into a anger rehab facility now is just a little too late.

It’s also being said that the department is aggressively investigating the incident that took place last weekend in DC and that Chris’ continuous legal problems have embarrassed them since they didn’t put him behind bars for his most recent issues while bing on probation.

They are reportedly in the process of submitting a scathing report to the judge who will ultimately decide if Chris’ probation will be revoked. If it is revoked, he faces up to four years in prison.

  1. Chris ain’t going to jail. His lawyer is one of the best in the business. Does he need to go? Absolutely. But it won’t ever happen.

  2. Can’t stand him but I doubt he will ever set two feet in jail. At first I thought it could happen but now I think the judge will give him yet another pass because of rehab.

  3. Well al that matters is what the judge says. And if they are cool with Chris’ lawyer, he’s not going to jail because that’s how Hollywood does. LOL.

    1. That’s how the justice system goes period. That’s why so many of these celeb men have gotten custody of their kids here lately!
