R&B singer Chris Brown may be away in anger management rehab considering he could be facing jail time for his alleged assault in DC, but he still has legal issues pending from his infamous parking lot brawl with Frank Ocean. As we reported recently, Frank’s cousin filed a lawsuit against Chris claiming he is the one who instigated the fight that left him with injuries. He wants the singer to pay up since he was reportedly kicked and beaten by Chris’ bodyguards. And it now appears Chris is finally clapping back at the suit.
According to TMZ, Chris has officially countersued Frank’s cousin Sha’Keir Duarte. In the paperwork obtained by the website, Chris is claiming that Duarte provoked the entire fight by threatening to kill him. Chris is also claiming that Frank’s cousin kicked and punched him.
Chris says he actually tried to prevent the altercation from happening, but Frank’s cousin allegedly remained hostile.
Frank’s cousin is suing Chris for $2 million and Chris says in the suit he’s filed that the request is “absurd” and he feels Duarte is just looking for a payday.
Chris Brown is still away in rehab and he will reportedly be there for three months.
I just hope he’s really getting the help he needs in rehab so he won’t need to file anymore lawsuits.
Frank’s cousin is just looking for money. He needs to sit down somewhere.
Shoot Chris needs to sit down somewhere too! Makes no sense he didn’t just get low key after the whole Rihanna thing. He’s been getting in trouble ever since. Smh.

So messy. However that’s what he gets. Everyone knows Chris Brown doesn’t think and has a horrible temper, but that doesn’t mean you can go around suing him just because he isn’t well liked…
