The King of Pop may no longer be with us, but he’s still managing to snatch up the awards and accolades even in his absence. Michael Jackson may have landed numerous magazine covers in his heyday like most stars, but it appears that one major publication feels he was the most cover worthy.
Vanity Fair recently asked its readers to vote on which celebrity they felt cranked out the best magazine cover for the publication, and they overwhelmingly voted for Michael Jackson. His December 1989 Vanity Fair cover was just voted the absolute best of all time. Check out the beloved magazine cover below:
Michael beat out popular culture queens such as Lady Gaga, Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn for the honor.
I love it!
He’s still the greatest even in his death. RIP.
Dope. And I love that cover.
GOAT period.
Awesome! And that really is a great cover!
Well he is the King of Pop.
That cover is everything!
Miss MJ best that ever did it!
