Kanye West has been doing plenty of interviews as of late, and in most of the interviews the rapper has ranted about his issue with the fashion industry, as well as how angry he is that he can’t seem to get his dream of launching a successful fashion line to come true. The rapper also admitted to Sway Calloway after screaming at him that he’s upset he lost $13 million in the launch of his own line only for things to not work out.
And when Kanye isn’t going off about the fashion industry, he’s also proclaiming to be a genius and officially labels himself as the voice of the new generation. His good friend Nick Cannon doesn’t think his tactics are beneficial though and Nick took to Twitter to tell Kanye that calling himself a genius kind of defeats the purpose.
Nick tweets (read from bottom to top):
Kanye West hasn’t responded as of yet.
He better chill before Kanye drags him on Twitter. LOL.
I agree with Nick. If you have to toot your own horn all the time, maybe you aren’t as great as you say you are.
Not a Kanye fan at all……
It’s ok. Let Kanye continue to talk himself into unpopularity.
THIS.
Nick said the truth. But Kanye is just going to keep on talking and looking crazy. What he fails to realize is to be as powerful/rich as he wants to be, people have to like you. And all he’s doing is making people dislike him more and more with these interviews.
Kanye keeps talking his delusions of grandeur because he’s hoping eventually it will convince people. It’s not working though.
Kanye will not like these tweets. He hates to hear the truth about himself. In his little world, he needs to believe he’s a genius and Kim Kardashian is the greatest woman on earth. LOL.
Nick Cannon will be the next person to get the Sway Calloway treatment…
Kanye is a little more open to criticism than people think. I feel a tad bit differently about him after seeing his interview on breakfast club…. As much of a genius he thinks he is, he also acknowledges that there’s room for improvement and a need to tighten up. I think he’ll be fine with these tweets….assuming they’re friends like Nick says they are.
