Beyonce may continue to reach milestones in her career, but the recording artist still has to deal with negative press just like any other starlet. Just days after it was confirmed by Billboard that she has amassed over $100 million in ticket sales for her Mrs. Carter World tour since its start in April, an archaeologist is calling the superstar out.
Famed archaeologist Zahi Hawass is slamming Beyonce in the press because he claims she was late to their appointment to tour the Egyptian Pyramids. Hawass was the singer’s tour guide a couple of years ago. He tells the Independent:
“Most people I take on tours are very nice and we become friends. But this lady…
“She said she would come at 3 p.m. but she came late. I said ‘You have to say I’m sorry I’m late’. But she didn’t open her mouth.
“I brought a photographer and she also had a photographer and a guard. When my photographer started to shoot, he said ‘No, Stop! I am the one who says yes or no, not you.’ I said ‘In that case since you almost hit my photographer and you are not polite — out! I am not giving you the privilege of having you on my tour.’ I said Beyoncé was stupid and I left.”
Interestingly enough, Hawass was fired in 2011 after he was accused of corruption for allegedly stealing antiquities.
I’ve seen this man be rude to other people in other videos. He’s a douche bag so he can’t call Beyonce out on being rude considering his own behavior on past tours.
Sounds like this man isn’t used to women not doing what they are told. I don’t blame Beyonce for not bowing down to this a-shole. I wouldn’t either. Some men in these other countries think they can talk to women any kind of way. FOH.

This man is full of it. There’s video of Beyonce apologizing. I see he’s still a liar and a-shole unworthy of respect. He has some kind of hatred for Beyonce that is uncalled for. Maybe he’s jealous he has all that education and Beyonce still has the better life. Well he can have a seat with all the other bitter haters.
This man again? How many times is he going to call her stupid in interviews? Get over it. She’s more successful and you’re not even a guide anymore because you’re a corrupt POS.
