Last week a video of a young black girl savagely punching and kicking another young black girl made its way to Worldstar Hip Hop and instantly the young woman who initiated the violent attack became a hero on Twitter and even a trending topic.

We’e not going to post the video because we don’t want to promote the disgusting actions that took place in the popular video, but Sharkeisha became a household name just for surprisingly and viciously attacking her victim ShaMichael Manuel over a boy.

The video begins with both young women having a conversation and when ShaMichael looks away, Sharkeisha sucker punches her viciously and then proceeds to punch her more in the face after ShaMichael falls to the ground. Things get worse instantly considering she then kicks the victim in the face despite the fact that the victim never fought back.

To many Sharkeisha deserved praise, but to us she’s nothing more than the typical bully and coward looking for internet fame. That didn’t stop her from getting put on an undeserved pedestal by most on social media though.

ShaMichael’s mom is furious that the assault of her daughter was found humorous by many and she told HuffPost Live that she’s disappointed that society has gotten to this place in which videos like these get millions of hits and the violent people are praised for their actions. Olevia Henderson says:

“The kids woke me up and said there was a video of the fight going out. And I’m like a video? It’s all over Worldstar Hip Hop. Now the video’s uploaded and they made the comment that people were making jokes about it like Kevin Hart…making funny comments and a guy out here in Houston made a rap song about it.

“People on the internet just making the most atrocious comments about my daughter and they’re glorifying Sharkeisha like she did something great.

“Are you serious? My daughter was assaulted online on a video and y’all making it seem like she did something wrong. What did she do wrong other than go get her belongings from a friend?”

ShaMichael claims that she believes she was set up by Sharkeisha and the rest of her friends because she had no idea Sharkeisha was even upset about anything and she was just going to meet them to grab her belongings. Despite how everything turned out, the victim says she still forgives everyone involved because her mother raised her that way. She tells Starkeisha:

“I forgive you. My mother raised me as a Christian, and I was taught to forgive. So I forgive every last one of them. “

The good news is Sharkeshia was arrested for assault at school on Thursday, finally. Of course this isn’t her first time. There’s a mugshot of hers floating around on Twitter too for a previous arrest.

  1. I don’t understand why people thought the video was so funny. I was appalled and angry that a young black girl was totally okay with behaving like the angry and violent black woman racists have been trying to paint us as for years. Nothing but stupidity.

  2. Nothing is funny about this situation. It is despicable and sad. I am just speechless at how things have changed nowadays. I hope the victim’s mother presses charges to the fullest extent. Disgusting!

  3. Social media and sites like Worldstar have really ruined people. Now these young kids are out here fighting and putting it on video just to become Twitter famous. I hope that little idiot gets charged. She might as well stay in prison because it’s obvious she doesn’t have a bright future anyway.

  4. There was nothing funny about that video. Honestly I was embarrassed to be black after I saw all these stupid people tweeting about it and laughing like it was the funniest thing they have ever seen. We have got to do better. And I don’t want to hear that white people do it too because they aren’t the ones getting shot dead on porches just because they were knocking and looking for help after a car accident! We get mad when people judge us and we get mad about what happened to Trayvon but we’re on Twitter praising Sharkeisha’s dumb a-s! Makes no sense!

  5. I deleted people off my friend’s list on Facebook for laughing about this. You have to be a messed up human being to find humor in this and I don’t want to be associated with people like that.

  6. It’s so sad what our society has been reduced too. And someone needs to shut Worldstar down. That site is nothing but poison and sets black people back 500 years.

  7. Sharkeisha belongs in jail. Her parents have failed her and anyone who is okay with kicking someone in the face who isn’t trying to fight back is a disgusting human being who should be isolated from the rest of society.

  8. Sharkeshia is a coward. She didn’t square up with the girl and had to hit her when she wasn’t paying attention. She wouldn’t try that on someone who wanted to fight back I bet. She’s a wimp and deserves to be charged.

  9. All these people praising Sharkeshia are wimps. How are you impressed by someone who had to sneak attack someone else? Sucker punches are for cowards.

  10. The victim didn’t want to fight. So why are people praising Sharkeisha? She’s a bully and she will end up being nothing more than a hood rat with a long and extensive criminal record when it’s all said and done.

  11. People are terrible. That video was sad not funny. Our young people are messed up. They think violence is a game. They fight to get on Worldstar and that knockout game they are playing now is a problem.

  12. Smh. People are so messed up. I’m just glad Sharkeshia was arrested and that ShaMichael isn’t allowing the situation to put hate in her heart. She’s a pretty girl and I believe she will make it out better in life than Sharkeshia will. She seems to have a better head on her shoulders anyway.

  13. Videos like that one only gives people of other races ammunition to racially profile us and kill us for knocking on their doors or walking in their neighborhoods. I swear we are our own worst enemy.

  14. I’d like to see how Kevin Hart handles this…. Hopefully anything he’s posted will be deleted. An apology will be made. Something.
