Well obviously they don’t call Beyonce a queen for no reason. The superstar shocked everyone (especially us) when she released her fifth studio album at midnight on Friday with absolutely no promotion. The album sold over 80,000 copies in as little as three hours, and now Billboard is claiming that the signer has already sold over 400,000 copies since its secret release.

Billboard confirms that Beyonce has done something major and sold over 430,000 copies of her new album in one day.

She is expected to top the Billboard 200 chart easily.

The publication is also thinking that Bey may even reach the 600,000 mark before the week is over.

“Beyonce” is on pace to become the biggest debuting album by a female artist this since Taylor Swift released “Red” and sold a whopping 1.2 million copies. And if Beyonce really does pull off 600,000 copies sold, this will officially become her best sales week ever. Oh, and the album is getting amazing reviews too.

And if that’s not enough, as of this morning, Hits Daily Double is reporting that Beyonce has now sold over 500,000 copies.

Congrats to Beyonce.

  1. She really deserves all of this and more! We asked her to come back hard and she did! I’m buying my THIRD copy at the store when the physical CD comes out!

  2. I think she’s doing this well because the album is awesome and the fans have had enough of all the hate she gets. I think her haters only helped her because they motivated me to buy her album twice! Keep it up haters. It only makes the BeyHive and Bey go harder.

  3. The music spoke for itself this time. And the videos are on point too. She made a smart move and I am so happy for her.

  4. #BAWSE!!!!!!! I looooooooooves me some Bey!!!! This was unexpected but very much appreciated. With all the “I hope she hurry up and drops a single” I’ve been seeing over the past few months, I’m so glad she dropped an ALBUM and was like “HERE!!!!!! *hair flip*” She will be (if not already) a legend. I’m happy for her. Much deserved.

  5. I’m slowly becoming a fan. I have not heard all of her music and what I have has always been on the radio, but I have always admired her work ethic and business sense. I haven’t heard this new cd but I have heard nothing but great things. I’ll be sure to check it out soon. I am happy for Beyoncé and wish her much continued success.

  6. She deserves it. I’m also extremely proud that this is an accomplishment a black woman achieved. She deserves all the praise she is getting right now
