Nicki Minaj has already managed to become a force to be reckoned with in Hip Hop and even her business ventures, but now the Young Money Head Barbie has officially set her sights on acting.
Nicki stars in the upcoming film “The Other Woman,” and it’s her first time on the big screen. The short synopsis of the film reads:
After realizing she is not her boyfriend’s primary lover, a woman teams up with his wife and plots mutual revenge.
The film stars Cameron Diaz, Nicki Minaj, and Leslie Mann. A trailer for the film was just released, and Nicki gets her acting chops on as she plays Cameron Diaz’s outspoken legal assistant. Once Cameron finds out her new boo is actually married, she teams up with his wife and second mistress to get even and make his life miserable. Check out the trailer below:
“The Other Woman” hits theaters April 25, 2014.
The movie actually looks like it will be decent. I like Cameron Diaz.
It always annoys me how the black actors and even music artists get casted to be someone’s “assistant” each and every time. Congrats to Nicki anyway though.
