The last time we heard any updates about R&B singer Elle Varner’s love life, she confirmed via her Twitter account that she had called off her romance with New York Knicks player Iman Shumpert after keeping the relationship a secret from the media for several months.
However, Elle is back to opening up about her personal life through her Twitter account, and after she admitted that she feels she gets awkward when men try to hit on her, she then proceeded to tell her followers that she even turned down rapper Meek Mill once, even though she thinks he’s a very nice guy.

This right here is why so many of these R&B singers flop and are not successful. Instead of using every free minute to record music and make a decent album/develop performance skills. They want to tweet stupid ish all day and hook up with NBA players. That’s why Rihanna and Beyonce will remain on top. They have sick work ethic!
You may be right. I can say even if I’m not Navy (I’m BeyHive only) that Rihanna AND Bey are hard workers. They don’t take a lot of time off. I like Elle but I wish she would put more of her focus in her music. She has talent.
This is true for everyone, not just celebs. We as a society should spend less time on twitter and work harder at our crafts. I hope she comes to that conclusion soon because I do like her voice.
Truth be told they shouldn’t have too much time to tweet. You can’t be on top and be tweeting all the time. That’s impossible. People hate on Bey for not tweeting and being on IG all day, but she is working! She doesn’t have time to be on social media all day! If she did, she wouldn’t be as successful as she is.
So true! Rih and Bey work very hard and that’s why they are winning!

Meek Mill screams on every track he’s on. I’d turn him down too. In a heartbeat.

I actually forgot about Elle get your priorities together boo because you cold out here in these streets. If she doesn’t make a comeback soon she will be labeled a FLOP!

Well I’m glad she turned him down because he has too much baggage and drama with his baby mama for anything to have worked anyway!
But let’s all rejoice that this relationship never happened. LOL.
Eh. I’m not surprised she’s tweeting this. Her priorities are definitely out of whack. But I’ve never cared for Elle as an artist anyway. *shrug*
