The other day we reported that R&B singer Chris Brown was being sued by a man who claims Chris and his crew of security guards allegedly assaulted him on a basketball court at a gym last summer, and he’s suing the singer for unspecified damages because he claims the alleged altercation forced him to get treatment at a hospital.
Chris Brown’s camp originally claimed they knew of the altercation but Chris never threw any punches.
But now Chris’ attorney is claiming that the young man is actually attempting to extort Chris.
TMZ reports:
TMZ has obtained a letter Ausbon’s lawyer sent to Chris’ legal eagle, Mark Geragos, demanding $250,000 from Chris … OR ELSE. As for the “or else” … the lawyer says if Brown doesn’t pay, “Mr. Ausbon is placed in a position by the LAPD where he needs to decide whether he will press charges.”
The lawyer continues, “He would rather be compensated.”
THAT, Mark Geragos tells TMZ, is EXTORTION … cleverly worded extortion, but extortion nonetheless.
Chris’ lawyer says he plans to file a police report against Ausbon and he’s also claiming Ausbon’s lawyer denied Chris assaulted him last year.
Chris’ camp also claims that there’s video evidence showing that a man with dreads was the one who hit Ausbon.
Sure Chris. Sure.
LOL.
I’m not saying Chris is totally innocent but this guy does sound like he is looking for a pay off. I need to see clear cut evidence.

Chris brings all of this on himself. If he had of handled his anger issues a long time ago, people wouldn’t be trying to extort him. You can’t give people rope to hang you with.
Eh, it’s possible. It wouldn’t be the first time a celebrity was extorted and it won’t be the last.
When it comes to Chris, you just never know. LOL!
We need receipts Chris. You have a solid record of assaulting people. Just saying.
Personally Chris and his people lie all the time. So you have Chris’ side, the victim’s side, but the truth is probably somewhere in the middle.
I don’t believe Chris or his crooked a-s lawyer. Since he beat Rihanna, he is always blaming someone else for why he acts violent. Let him tell it he’s innocent but the common denominator is always him and his “friends.”
I got to give this whole situation the side eye.
