It was rumored several days ago that not only was Halle Berry’s marriage in trouble, but so was her role in the upcoming “X-Men” film.
According to the New York Daily News, sources told the publication that Halle’s pregnancy led to most of her scenes being cut out from the film. But now the director is speaking out and he says there’s no truth to the gossip.
Gossip Cop reports:
A purported “source” for the Daily News alleges, “She only has one line in the whole movie,” adding, “They’re not telling her until the movie comes out.”
But the report is completely false.
Asked on Twitter whether Berry’s scenes were really cut to just one line, X-Men director Bryan Singer replied with a flat-out “No.”
Well that’s good.
They have ruined these movies. I don’t even want to see the next one.
They really need to replace her and the person who plays Rogue.
We’ll see! LOL!
Well that’s one less black actress getting screwed so I’m for it.
Halle better be in that movie for more than one line because they won’t getting my 8.50 for that movie. I love me some Halle and they better treat her with some respect.
Hear, hear.
Great! I can’t wait to see the movie! 🙂
So I guess nothing came from that Lupita petition then huh. *sips tea*
I actually love her as Storm. #shrugs
Me too.
