Beyonce’s Mrs. Carter World Tour was a massive success and it’s the reason why the singer ended up having the highest grossing tour by a female artist in 2013.
None of that could have been possible without her fans though, so we completely understand why she got emotional when she thanked them for all the support they have shown her throughout her career.
On the last night of the tour in Lisbon, Portugal on Thursday, she broke down and told the crowd the following:
“If ya’ll didn’t know, tonight makes 132 shows. Tonight is the last show of the Mrs. Carter Show.We started a year ago. I wanna say this has been such a journey. In the past year, we’ve been through so much together, the Super Bowl, shooting the videos, all of these shows.
“When I first started the tour, my baby was not even walking. I just want you to know that I am so lucky. I’m giving ya’ll the ugly cry.
“Thank you for allowing me to have a career, and when I fall, you lift me up. And when I’m hungry, you feed me. And I just want to give you my light. I dedicate this song to you guys.”
Check out Bey getting emotional below:
Love her.
She’s such a hard worker.
KANG!
I’m still salty she’s not coming back to the US. I really wanted to see her perform her new album live.
Me too.
Ugh I know! I just knew she would add shows here since she dropped the album in December. I’m so disappointed. 🙁
Aww Bey.
LOL she better thank the Hive because they have kept her on top for a very long time. Most singers wish they could have stayed on top as long as she has. Lucky? No girl you’re blessed! LOL.
She thanks God in this video and all the time for where she is today. Don’t let the Illuminati nuts lie to you. They need to think everyone they don’t like is a devil worshiper to help them sleep better at night.
She deserves all the success she has and much more. She’s my fave because she works hard and it shows.
Gotta love her humility.
