R&B singer Kelis is back with some new music, and her album “Food” is one her fans have been anticipating. Although Kelis already made it clear that she will never get back together with her ex-husband Nas because he cheated on her, people are still curious about where she stands with the legendary emcee today.
And if her recent interview with New York Times Magazine is any indication, she has plenty shade to throw.
When asked if she was insulted that he used her wedding dress for the cover of his most recent album “Life is Good,” Kelis says:
“It’s not even the dress. The joke behind that is that it’s the slip to the petticoat to my dress. I think when I moved out I just left it. That’s all he had, poor thing.”
And when she was asked if it was weird to her that he would bring up their past issues in his music, she snaps:
“Maybe for others, but not for me. I don’t really listen to his music anyway.”
Ouch.
Welp.
I thought she said she was done talking about Nas?
Not when she has an album to promote. Who’s checking for Kelis unless she’s shading Nas, Beyonce or Rihanna? Exactly.

Between Carmen’s crazy a-s and Kelis’ angry a-s, Nas stay losing. He’s a great rapper but his past relationships with women is a major fail.
