Michelle Williams has been real vocal as of late about the criticism she still receives although Destiny’s Child hasn’t had a new album out in years, and we’re sensing that she’s getting a bit tired of being the target of ridicule on social media.

TIME Magazine asked her to give her thoughts on some of her most embarrassing moments, and when she got to the video of a reporter who didn’t even recognize her on the red carpet, she said:

“She was an idiot. A bona-fide idiot. And I should have asked her, ‘Are you a reporter?'”

Michelle then went on to explain why she’s thankful for her haters:

“Regardless of what people do or say about me, I am always blessed. There are a couple moments that you left out. But I’m sure someone out of boredom or just sheer fascination of myself…you’re going to find it. The fact that people sit and search for this stuff, I am on your mind daily.

“So I thank you so much for making me relevant every single day.

“I have you all to thank for that. Thank you so much. My accounts are bigger because of you. Shoes. Clothes. Houses. Cars. Blessings. Thank you!”

  1. I’m starting to think Michelle is low key butt hurt about everything. That’s usually how it is when someone become obsessed with what people think about them. Why even talk about haters? I don’t get that.

  2. Eh, idiots aren’t even worth addressing. She’s doing interviews for Time Magazine while they are coming up with wack hashtags on Twitter about her losing. Oh the irony.

  3. I’m glad she’s benefiting from the negativity. It did seem like people randomly care after her out of nowhere while she was minding her business. If it’s making her bank account larger while her haters live paycheck to paycheck that’s just karma.
