Apollo Nida said he isn’t a criminal and just has a criminal past on the RHOA reunion but that didn’t stop him from pleading guilty to bank fraud and identity theft charges in court today.

The reality star is facing up to 30 years in prison and claims he only engaged in the illegal acts because he was trying to keep up with Phaedra’s large salary (he claims Phaedra gets paid a whopping $600,000 a season from RHOA).

The AJC reports:

Apollo Nida, the husband of Phaedra Parks, today pled guilty to charges of mail, wire and bank fraud in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

In court, wearing a light-colored plaid jacket, Nida accepted charges that could land him in prison for up to 30 years and a fine of up to $1 million on top of restitution for an estimated $2.3 million he allegedly defrauded various individuals, financial institutions and government agencies. Judge Charles Pannell has set the sentencing hearing for July 8 at 2 p.m.

Apollo is also claiming that Phaedra was completely in the dark about the latest crimes he committed.

Bravo is reportedly planning to have the cameras catch Apollo’s final months as a free man since he’s not expected to head to prison until July.

As we told you recently, everyone from season six is expected to return for season seven.

  1. I feel bad for their kids. Apollo has to be one of the dumbest people on the face of the planet. You got out and your wife was making good money, why risk going back to jail when you have two kids depending on you now? I tell you. It makes no sense at all.

  2. I’m Team Twirl all day, but I can’t take delight in this because of the kids who have to suffer for Apollo’s bad choices. So sad.

    1. I think she will wait until he’s in prison first. But he was never on her level. She married that man for his looks alone because he’s not smart enough to even make money in a legit way.

  3. Oh well. He made the wrong call and needs to go back to jail. Commit the crime, serve the time.

  4. WOW I’m not shocked he plead guilty I’m shocked at how much time he can get. I just feel sorry for those kids. I also don’t buy that he committed these crimes to keep up with Phaedra. No he committed those crimes because he wanted to saying Phaedra’s salary is the reason is a cop out. If he was truly feeling threatened by his wife salary he should have talked to her about it or go to counseling instead of committing white collar crimes.

  5. Well that’s that. Another reality star puts himself before his kids and family. Very selfish.

  6. I would say Kenya wins but the truth is her life isn’t any better. She’s out here sleeping with married men and can’t even get claimed in public. And her acting career consists of mainly straight to DVD movies. I mean all of these people stay losing. RHOA is like a curse or something.

  7. Kenya can laugh all she want her life is no better. At least Phaedra has careers, a husband and kids…..That’s Neva happening for Kenya….oh yeah she ain’t getting no more of Apollo’s p-nis either…..Now what is Kenya gonna talk about?? Lmao hahhahaha #teamtwirledout
