Up and coming R&B singer August Alsina made headlines when he checked “106 & Park” host Keshia Chante for asking him questions about his beef with Trey Songz, but now it appears August is willing to talk about the issue in his recent interview with Hot 97.

August actually feels he could have handled the 106 & Park situation better than he did, but he says it’s just in his nature to be completely honest at all times:

“I wasn’t mean. Here’s the thing, people get honestly and mean mixed up…

“I went back to BET yesterday and that’s exactly what I said. She was like ‘I didn’t mean to disrespect you’ and I was like, ‘well, it wasnt my intentions to disrespect you.’ But the thing was before this conversation, I felt how I felt and I spoke on how I felt and I don’t take back nothing that I said.”

He also says that he and Trey squashed their beef:

“We don’t have a problem. I just talked to Trey that day I was in Miami with Jeezy and he got on the line with Jeezy and I holla’d at him.”

Check out the video below:

In more beef news, it appears comedians Kevin Hart and Mike Epps have also squashed their beef.

Last week, both comedians took to Twitter and hurled insults after Kevin got word that Mike Epps called him overrated in a radio interview.

Kevin took to Twitter the other day and posted the following:

I just had a conversation on the phone with @TheRealMikeEpps where we addressed our issues directly Da conversation ended on a positive note

We both agreed that we r better than this bullsh*t & that we should of handled it differently! All is good now & we are putting it behind us

There is a positive in every negative…in this case it took us going thru the negative to get to the positive!!! All love @TheRealMikeEpps

Mike Epps confirmed on Twitter that the beef is officially over too:

We are all we got in this business! Cool conversation with @KevinHart4real tonight. Glad we could talk as men. Our fans deserve better.

Considering this is the second public spat these two have had, we’ll just have to wait and see if this actually sticks this time.

  1. Not buying Kevin Hart and Mike Epps’ tweets. They can’t really like each other if they keep getting into it. They will beef again I’m sure.

  2. Well this is good news that everybody decided to take the mature approach end their beef. Now if some of these industry women can try to put their differences aside lol. I can’t front I am feeling some of August Alsina songs he has some nice songs.

  3. I’m glad Trey and August are cool again. But I think Mike Epps really doesn’t care for Kevin. This won’t be the last time he shades him.

  4. Dope. I hope everyone can really move forward and not engage in any more childish beefs.

  5. It’s only a matter of time before Mike Epps comes for Kevin again. He said his true feelings the first time. He thinks Kevin is overrated and he should be in his shoes.

  6. I been trying to tell people it’s no beef thanks Aug for clearing that up because I supports them both
