Chris Brown has been in jail for the last couple of months but the R&B singer just learned that he will have to serve more time. According to reports, Chris was just sentenced to one year in jail, but the good news is he may be released very soon since he did a couple of months of rehab and has already been in jail for over 100 days.

TMZ reports:

Brown was in court Friday afternoon … where he admitted he violated his probation by getting into a fight with a dude in Washington D.C.

That’s all the judge needed to hear. He sentenced Chris to 1 year in jail. HOWEVER, Chris got credit for 116 days he spent in rehab, and another 59 days behind bars. That leaves 131 days in the pokey.

But we’re told the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept has been releasing inmates sentenced to 1 year after 240 days. And here’s the thing. Chris gets credit for 2 days for every 1 he served behind bars, so when you add it up, he has credit for 234 days — 6 days shy. So he could be released in days.

  1. I hate to say it but he’ll just be right back in jail because he has learned nothing. Wasted talent man.

  2. Chris is such a disappointment. I would have never imagined that his life would end up like this.

    1. I don’t think any of us could have predicted he would have turned out like this. But now that we know more about his backstory, I guess it shouldn’t be too surprising.

  3. He got real lucky because he could have been sentenced to four years. His lawyer keeps saving him but he keeps getting in trouble. He’s pretty stupid.

  4. Oh well. I gave up on Chris Brown a long time ago. Some people aren’t smart enough to hold on to their success.

  5. I really hope he gets his life together. I was really pulling for him, but he kept making me look stupid, so now I’m just minding my business and hoping he does better.
