A couple of months ago San Francisco 49ers star quarterback Colin Kaepernick found himself the target of controversy after a woman showed up to a hospital and claimed she was unsure of what happened to her the night she kicked it with the athlete and his friends.

It also didn’t look good that she claimed she woke up naked in a bed and couldn’t recall what happened after Colin left her in the bedroom, but Kaepernick claimed all along that he was innocent and never harmed her.

Now the police are backing up Colin’s story too.

TMZ reports:

Colin Kaepernick will NOT be hit with any charges stemming from a sexual assault investigation in Miami, authorities say … after officials determined there was NO credible evidence he did anything wrong.

The Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office has announced … after a thorough investigation, the San Francisco 49ers QB is “exceptionally cleared.”

According to official documents obtained by TMZ Sports, prosecutors determined, “There is no evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that any crime was committed against the complaintant.”

Colin is happy the whole ordeal is over and he tweeted the following:

“As I said from day one, I would never do the things that were made up about me. I’m glad this issue is resolved. It’s time for football.”

  1. Good for him. But I hope he’s really learned from this situation and made some changes in the circle he keeps.

  2. Sigh what a relief I didn’t want to stop lusting after him lol. I don’t know how true it is but I read the chick made up the whole thing because Kap didn’t want to hook up with her and passed her to his dudes.

  3. If he doesn’t stop picking up THOTS on IG and hanging around losers, this won’t be the last time he gets in trouble.

  4. One of the easiest ways an athlete can prevent getting to to some mess is leaving groupies alone. I think Grant Hill was the only athlete who understood that.

  5. It irritates me that these women are making it so hard for the ones that follow who have legitimate rape or sexual assault cases. Now the first thing any prosecutor, not to mention the public is going to do is wonder first if she’s lying/trying to get a come up or pissed off at the guy and seeking revenge. SMDH!!!!!!
