Is a Chris Brown reality show in the works? Chris Brown’s long running legal problems keep him in the headlines, but it now appears TV executives are hoping to turn his bad luck into a hit reality show.

According to TMZ, BET is in the process of trying to secure a reality show for the singer, but Chris hasn’t officially signed on just yet:

Multiple sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ … BET has made it clear to several production companies … the network would absolutely air a Chris Brown reality series, chronicling his life after jail.

We’re told several production companies are angling to sign Chris, but so far that hasn’t happened. If it does, we’re told the show will get on the air.

Since nothing kills a music career faster than a reality show (in most cases), we highly doubt Chris will do the reality show.

  1. NO! NO! NO! Somebody in Chris’s camp has to have some kinda common sense and shut this mess down, this will be a train wreck. Typical BET always trying to exploit people for their benefit. Jesus take the wheel and make sure this never sees the light of day.

  2. Much as I can’t stand his trifling a-s, I would hope he doesn’t do this. As UB said, nothing kills a career faster than a reality show, and Chris is still hovering close to the top of his game.

However, knowing how media savvy his lawyer is, he may want Chris to show a “softer” more everyday side of himself, to get back in the public’s good graces.

  3. Chris ain’t stupid. He will not agree to doing this show. BET may as well just hang it up now. It’s not happening.

  4. Chris isn’t washed up though so I don’t see why he would even agree to this. Loyal is so big right now too. BET needs to stop it.

  5. I don’t even like him, but I don’t see him ever doing a reality show. Chris will do background work in the biz before he ever does a reality show.

  6. Chris would be dumb as hell if he went along with this. Reality shows are for washed up people. He’s not washed up yet.
