Power couple Beyonce and Jay Z’s ability to dodge negative press took a huge blow after video of Solange attacking Jay Z in an elevator leaked and became viral on all the blogs, and it’s pretty safe to assume that the entire situation opened up the door for the tabloids to make the couple a target to vicious cheating rumors.
While Beyonce and Jay Z haven’t said anything publicly about the situation (sans the public statement put out by the couple’s rep), Solange is opening up about the drama and she wants to make it clear that everything is good between all parties involved.
She tells Lucky Magazine via Page Six:
In an interview with Lucky Magazine, Beyoncé’s singer sister glosses over her infamous elevator beatdown of brother-in-law Jay Z, calling the shocking showdown “that thing.”
“What’s important is that my family and I are all good,” said Solange, who got dolled up in ’60s chic for the mag’s August issue. “What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that.”
In a nutshell she’s saying we’re not ever telling y’all what happened, so seethe on b-tches.

So basically she really didn’t say anything. I have already came to the conclusion we will never know what really happened. The Carters camp are ran almost like the CIA lol.
Did they really take a photo of her holding a coffee cup and slapped it on the cover? Really?
We will never know why it happened and people just need to accept that. And if people really think these mags and blogs now know what’s going on in the Carters’ marriage when they haven’t known for the past 12 years, they are stupid.

I really respect the fact that Beyonce and her family keep their issues to themselves and they don’t exploit their problems for media attention and relevancy unlike other people. I guess they can afford to do that because they actually have real careers and talent.

I’m surprised Solo hasn’t gotten on Twitter and gotten b-tches together about this yet. I know she’s been itching to drag some of these heifers for talking slick about her family.
Much as I appreciate her not putting their business on front, I’m still giving her major side eye for starting this mess anyway. If she’d really wanted to go after Jay, she could’ve waited till they got in the car, and then pulled an Angela Bassett move. Instead, she forgot the cardinal rule that someone is always watching”, especially in the damn elevator.

Beyonce has always been so secretive about her private life so it’s insane to me it was actually her sister who gave the tabloids ammunition to go in. I hope Solange regrets her actions now.
