The other day Floyd Mayweather was slammed by 50 Cent for his literacy skills, and many suspected the digs were a result of an interview Floyd did recently in which he subliminally suggested 50 uses his name for relevance reasons. The boxer also bragged that he will remain unfazed by rappers taking shots at him because he’s a “million dollar man.”
Apparently Floyd has decided to respond to 50’s diss and he posted the following to Instagram:
Interestingly enough, Floyd got dragged on Twitter after the Breakfast Club crew released audio of him struggling to record a drop at the station recently.
In the audio, Floyd struggles to read a drop that should have been recorded in about ten seconds:

He posted the following video on Instagram and says:
Wait, this sh*t be getting motherf*ckas confused. You put up a check, that must be for a blogger. N*gga you know I got money, you know I got money n*gga. Look b*tch, the check say Golden Boy. That mean you work for Oscar b*tch?
He also writes in the caption:
I guess you want people to see your math is better then your reading. Get a account Floyd,the people around you are using you.if you mad at me call me or come see me.
If I were Floyd I’d suggest that they settle it in the ring with the proceeds going to a literacy non-profit.
That audio was hard to listen to. Floyd is too damn old to struggle reading aloud.

I don’t even like Floyd but I think the the breakfast club went to far. Floyd is a douche but someone seriously struggling to read isn’t funny to me. All the money he has he should hire a tutor to help him.
And that’s exactly why I don’t feel bad that the BC played him. You can hire someone to bathe you and post it on IG but can’t hire a tutor? You deserve to be mocked.
I agree with you. A damn shame, you got all this money and can’t read. 50 is right people are using him. They are making fun of him and as long as someone is cutting them a check, they could care less if he can read. As a matter of fact I’m sure they like it better that he struggles in reading so they can continue to cheat him and believe me someone is cheating him.
This whole thing has gotten even dumber and I didn’t think it was possible. But I did laugh at that audio. I’m sorry. LOL.

I’m not a Floyd fan but I think this was very out of line by the Breakfast Club. They need to stay out of whatever it is 50 and Floyd have going on.

Yo…don’t trip! He only signs the contracts. Others are reading the contracts for him and giving the explaination in terms that he can understand. Now he may be rich but 50…He is rich as well. Remember 50 did the Vitamin Water, and he has other lucrative investments including the new Showtime sitcom in which has extremely high ratings. Floyd, when you have secrets of such and you blast people who know your secret, this is what happens. Secrets are never safe!
On another note, money has nothing to do with being DUMB for no reason. As a matter of fact because you have money you can hire tutors and teachers to upgrade your educational skills.

He’s obviously not a strong reader. He’s not the only one. We all remember those from our schooling days who struggled to read aloud when the teacher asked them to. If you’re a decent reader, you could read that simple drop in one or two takes. 50 knew Floyd wasn’t a strong reader and this video proves it. Oh well. He’s still rich. LOL.
So he has time to post pictures of checks and cash to IG but doesn’t have time to work on his reading skills?

This was a dumb clap back. Everyone knows Floyd has money but that has nothing to do with not knowing how to read. He missed the whole point. Like someone said on here recently, Floyd’s answer to everything is money. I hope he never goes broke.

I’m with you Chelly, you know you can’t read and you knew that 50 was coming after you from what you said, so why respond with posting of checks. To me he should have left it alone with the dissing of 50 and Nelly (the rappers hang around me to be relevant diss). So all is fair in love and war and in this case the war zone is on!

It sounds like he is just rubbish at reading out loud, not that he cant read. Also that was a loooooong arse ‘drop’lol – why is a radio host who makes a living with his voice comparing his delivery with Floyds? I have a masters degree and regularly trip over words when i am reading to my daughter. Mean and unnecessary.
