Australian female rapper Iggy Azalea may be getting lots of success in her rap career now that she has hits under her belt, but her success hasn’t done much to unhinge her from being a favorite target of Hip Hop lovers and other female emcees.

While it was originally suspected that Nicki Minaj wasn’t fond of her, Nicki denied there’s an issue and also claims she never shaded Iggy at the BET Awards.

But one female rapper who isn’t shy to express her dislike of Iggy is Rah Digga.

She tells This Is 50:

“Iggy Azalea, I can’t really get into her. Because it’s just not real to me. There is a white girl from Australia that spits in an Australian accent, and her name is Chelsea Jane. That I can get into. Teach me Australian Hip Hop culture. Don’t come to America and try to convince me that you’re Gangsta Boo… We’re not going to believe you if you’re trying to convince us that you’re out here trap shooting.”

Rah also made it clear she didn’t like the fact that Nicki was called out for shading Iggy at the BET Awards:

“That’s the problem. They’re too many passes being given. When did it become wrong to call out people that don’t write their own rhymes? When did that become a crime in Hip Hop?

“I don’t consider [Iggy] Hip Hop. I listen to her album. Everything that I hear on there is everything but that… Hip Hop is representative of this: to inform and empower inner city youth. I’m fine with anybody’s race, creed, or color participating, but don’t ever forget what it was created for in the first place.”

  1. She said the truth but Iggy’s five fans will call her a hater. Meanwhile white people are on Twitter calling Iggy and Macklemore the Queen and King of Hip Hop. That’s the sh-t that makes me mad.

    1. Queen? Lol. Has she even gone gold yet? Or rapped a verse that bodied everyone else on the track like Nicki and Kim have? People can be so delusional.

    2. That’s how it’s always been though. They will hype up their own like they discovered the genre when they are nothing but culture vultures.

      1. Now this is the truth! Elvis Presley use to go to black clubs in the south and study black people dance and music but he is considered the king of rock and roll. While people like Chuck Berry and Little Richard were the real pioneers.

  2. THANK YOU!!! I wish more Hip Hop artists would stand the hell up and say the sh-t that needs to be said, rather than acting like she is the second coming of the genre, or that they scared of Tip. Iggy is a fraud – pure and simple!

  3. I’m noticing a trend here. All the old school rappers who can really rap aren’t afraid to call out Iggy and her mediocre skills. Meanwhile all the wack rappers are on her nuts. I guess they can relate to her lack of talent.

    1. Right??? It’s sad what we as a people sometimes do just to collect a check. Like money somehow equates respectability and longevity in the game! I miss Pac, cause I feel like his voice would be one calling mofos out right now.

  4. Rah Digga told the truth. Unfortunately it won’t change anything. Black people have been sitting back and allowing the Iggy Azaleas and Elvises of the world jack our style and prosper for years.
