The crazy thing about reality television is often times a spinoff to a reality show can end up becoming more successful than the original. And that’s easily the case for “R&B Divas Atlanta” and “R&B Divas LA.” With the LA show generating more eyeballs, rumor has it TV One has decided to fire most of the show’s original stars.
Always A List writes:
Sources close to the show said producers were planning to make significant cast changes to the “R&B Divas: Atlanta” for season four. Apparently, only Syleena is the only cast member confirmed to return. Producers were still talking with Monifah and Meelah and had also set their sights on several new R&B stars to join the franchise.
Though we were originally told that the network was interested in KeKe returning, she had a public rant on social media on Wednesday making it clear that she has no desires to return to the show.
In regards to Always A List’s report, KeKe tweeted:
They can cancel the whole show and I wouldn’t even care.
I didn’t know people were still checking for this show…
We’re not. LOL.
Why is KeKe acting like she has so many options lined up? Girl you better go on back and get that check. You’re on baby number eight.
I heard she’s trying to get her own show.
The show blew Keke’s head up. She really thinks she’s hot sh-t and if she drop an album it would go platinum. But that’s how a lot of reality stars are. They believe their own hype.
That’s what I’m saying. LOL at her being all high and mighty when she has nothing else going on.
I think TV One will renew the show for another season. But I’m not surprised they are thinking about bringing in more new people. I don’t think the network feels the current cast is ratchet enough.
It’s boring anyway. So is the LA one.
Keke better hope they don’t cancel she need to put her pride aside and stop fronting and beg for her job she has 8 kids. R&B divas was boring so I can see why they would cancel. But I cannot wait for Hollywood divas I’m like so excited too see my all time tv faves.
This show is career suicide.
