NeNe Leakes is quickly becoming one of the most successful housewives from “Real Housewives of Atlanta” since she’s actually managed to land impressive acting gigs and she’s even set to make her Broadway debut soon.
However, NeNe has always claimed her dream job is to also host a talk show and rumor has it she may be very close to making that a reality.
Apparently NeNe is in the running to take over for Joan Rivers on “Fashion Police” and although E! executives are thrilled by the idea, the show stars remaining are reportedly not.
Life & Style Magazine writes:
According to the source, the execs “love” the idea of having NeNe since “fans really respond well to her.” Now, the only problem is getting the co-hosts to like her as well.
“Melissa thinks it’s a huge mistake and Kelly and Giuliana think it’s an outrage…They’re afraid that it will become the NeNe Show,” the insider added.“Melissa just doesn’t think NeNe should be in the running and definitely doesn’t think she even comes close to filling her mother’s shoes.”
Meanwhile, Bravo’s Andy Cohen is pushing NeNe to take the job. “He thinks it’s a great idea and E! is listening,” the insider tells Life & Style.
You have to respect her ambition.
But a lot of them don’t.

I’m all for Nene getting her coins but they should have canceled this show after Joan passed.
E is struggling though. They need that show.
Yeah because hardly anyone is watching the Kardashians anymore.
I could see NeNe doing this but they will probably go with another comedian instead. Kathy Griffin seems more likely.
These haters can’t stop her. Even if they don’t pick her, she’s doing a damn good job of hustling.
No one can say NeNe hasn’t used RHOA to her advantage.
I think NeNe would be great for the show just for troll purposes. But I don’t think it will work out because watch and see Nene won’t get away with talking ish about people like Joan did. It’s ok for a white woman to talk ish about people but when a black woman does it’s going to be a problem.

I hope Kenya is paying attention. This is how you parlay your time on reality tv. Not by trying and failing, I might add to be the Queen, but by hustling, and networking.
NeNe is always looking for an opportunity. Very smart.
I don’t thnk this is a good fit for Nene.
Her agent is a beast.
How the hell does she keep getting these opportunities?!!!!
