For the last several hours, social media has been on fire because a comedian is accusing actor Tyrese of allegedly sleeping with “Baby Boy” producer John Singleton to secure the leading role.

“Wild N’ Out” comedian Carlos “Spanky” Hayes says:

“I had an audition… [there were] 30 stars there. There were so many stars there that I was like, ‘I don’t f*ckin belong here…’ Three weeks later, it was me and another person – now we’re the best two people there. He gets up {and] he reads, I’m thinking, ”F*ck, I’m not gonna get his.’ Then I get up and I read, and I shock myself. We both sit down and the [producer] goes, ‘I love both of you guys, both of you are talented. But which one of you guys is gonna suck my c*ck.’ I busted out laughing because a mothaf*cka ain’t never talk to me like that. And what f*cked me up though is that other dude wasn’t laughing… And I looked at both of them, and was like, ‘Aww hell naw.’ And to keep it real, he got the leading role… ‘BABY BOY.”

Now Tyrese wasted no time clapping back and making it clear he will make sure the comedian never gets a chance to succeed. He says:

“What kind of man wakes up and says. ‘Today I want to end my career. Today I want to figure out a way to stop my kids from eating. Today, I want to commit career suicide.’ You know you done f*cked up, right?

“Let me tell you something you don’t know. First of all, the role for ‘Baby Boy’ was written, directed and produced by John Singleton. It was written for Tupac. That’s a factual fact. When Tupac was killed, he only had one person in mind to play Baby Boy. It wasn’t them, it wasn’t you, n*gga it was me.

“You’re never going to perform at the Chocolate Factory. You’re never going to perform at the Improv. You’re never going to do any of the things that a struggling comedian needs to do in order to get their career off the ground. It’s over.”

Tyrese denies the accusations and even slams Hayes for bringing Morris Chestnut into it.

  1. Tyrese is many things but I can’t ever say he didn’t work hard to get where he is today. People like this comedian kill me because they really believe a person has to sell their soul to succeed in life and that’s not always the case. And I’m mad he brought Morris into this bullsh-t. Morris has always been anti-hollywood and he’s been with the same BLACK woman for many years.

  2. This is hilarious! But the irony is when Tyrese goes to the outdoor “theater” and there’s a picture in the background of Tyrese and some light skin dude. Hhahahaha

  3. I’m sorry I laughed at Tyrese’s video. He can be hilarious when he wants to be. Anyway, I don’t know what he did or didn’t do, there’s gay rumors about just about everyone in Hollywood.

  4. So we’re supposed to believe this dry comedian had the acting chops to be one of the last two people auditioning for Baby Boy?

  5. I read this yesterday I knew he was lying but it was still funny. Come on now how were you in the running for the lead of Baby Boy looking like that. That role required some sort of sex appeal and he’s lacking in that department lol.

  6. So he said Tyrese got his role the casting couch way, Morris has naked basketball players at his house with men and Jamie Foxx tried to hit on him. I don’t know if he’s lying or not but I do know for a fact that Morris Chestnut has already hired a lawyer and he wants to sue. *sips tea*

  7. This Spanky person is lying. It’s common knowledge that Tyrese never had to audition for the role. When Tupac died, John Singleton approached Tyrese. And this Spanky person is only 28 years old, so if Baby Boy came out in 2001, he would have been like 14 years old auditioning against grown a-s Tyrese? Nah bruh. He’s lying.

  8. Tyrese may be an ignorant douche bag but I don’t believe this for a second. This comedian needs to figure out why he has to slander people to get any shine. If he was a funny dude, he wouldn’t need to do this.

  9. You can’t put anything past anybody famous. But the fact that he was like 14 when Baby Boy came out is why I think he’s lying.

  10. Not only was he not old enough to star in Baby Boy, he doesn’t have the sex appeal needed or screen presence to carry that film…nice try tho lol

    1. Exactly! He was a child when this movie came out. And on the issue of sex appeal…if he could put sex appeal on lay-a-way I’m still not sure if he could get it.
