The other day it was confirmed that Stephanie Moseley of VH1’s hit show “Hit the Floor” was killed at the hands of her boyfriend Earl Hayes (also a close friend of Floyd Mayweather) in a murder suicide, and sources claimed he went off because he thought she had an affair with a music artist.

Sources are now telling TMZ the music artist in question is R&B singer Trey Songz.

TMZ writes:

Sources connected with Hayes tell us … around 2 years ago he separated from Stephanie because of what he says was her affair with Songz. They got back together but, as one friend put it, “He was crushed and never got over it.” We’re told he frequently brought up Songz.

Hayes accused Moseley of having multiple affairs with various other entertainers. She was a backup dancer who worked with numerous famous singers, including Chris Brown and Usher, but we’re told Hayes never mentioned them as a source of conflict.

Hayes and Moseley married in 2008 and his friends say he loved her and tried rationalizing staying together.

Sadly for Floyd, he reportedly witnessed the horrific incident while he was on a FaceTime phone call with Hayes.

  1. I saw Rihanna’s RIP to her on her IG page and kept wondering who this Stephanie was. So sad for her, and for Floyd too for seeing it.

That situation wasn’t love, he was obsessed, and we women really need to recognize the signs to be able to tell the difference.

    1. Sad for Floyd? He instigated this whole thing! He was on the phone telling him about the infidelities and encouraged divorce! (As reported by TMZ) He needed to not be an instigator and should’ve been minding his own business, this is not Floyd’s fault but he had a spoon in the pot.

  2. This is so sad this is why everybody needs to stay prayed up. And this is the second time Trey Songz has been mentioned in a murder-suicide with a husband and wife he was mentioned in that Jovan Belcher case too very creepy.

    Right on sister!

    Very unfortunate situation

    1. Thank you. I was in a relationship where he began showing similar behavior. I was able to get out, but this situation really hits close to home for me.

  4. I’m not trying to put all the blame on Trey but people have to start thinking about how seriously bad things can turn out when you mess around with married/taken people. If someone isn’t single, leave them the hell alone.
