It was rumored recently that TV One’s hit show “R&B Divas Atlanta” was cancelled, but now one of the show’s producers is speaking out and claims the network has not pulled the plug on the show just yet.
Executive Producer, Phil Thornton, tells the Jasmine Brand:
“R&B Divas Atlanta has not been cancelled. There has been no definitive decision made by the network. Yeah, contracts have expired. We have not renewed any of the cast contracts. That’s no secret. We’re in discussions now, but the show is absolutely not cancelled. I was on the phone with the network today and the show is absolutely not cancelled.”
Phil says the show isn’t cancelled as of yet but his comments did give life to the rumor from months ago that claimed most of the ladies would be fired for new faces.
The LA one has surpassed the original.
I stopped watching after the first season. It was just boring. They would have to bring bout 5 Lil Mos to make me watch the ATL one again. LOL.
Sounds like TV One doesn’t know what it wants to do.
I hope for the sake of Keke’s 10 kids that they bring the show back.
I wonder which washed up R&B singers they’ll get to sign on now.
They’re scrambling to make this show interesting again.
I actually liked the show. The sad thing is their probably seeking to add more drama to the show, smh.
They have to bring it back. What else it there to watch on that channel?
