Kelly Rowland is reportedly working on her next studio album while Brandy Norwood just nabbed a gig on Broadway, but BET confirms both ladies just secured new shows on the network which are set to air next year.
That Grape Juice writes:
Today the network announced their programming line-up for the upcoming year and surprised many with the announcement of two new shows featuring Ms. Kelly and B-Rocka.
Without further ado, they are…
Chasing Destiny (Starring Kelly Rowland)
As a founding member of Destiny’s Child, Kelly Rowland knows what it takes to win. The talented vocalist, actor and competition judge has joined forces with BET to launch Chasing Destiny, a multi-platform search for the next blazing hot singing sensation that will bring together young women with all that’s required to meet Kelly Rowland’s standards for excellence.
Zoe Moon (Starring Brandy)
A romantic comedy featuring Zoë Moon (Brandy Norwood), a newly divorced single mom embarking on her new life and career as a fledgling cosmetics mogul — but it won’t be easy. Her ex-husband is not ready to take a back seat in her life, nor is her precocious 10 year-old son ready for her new dating life.
Congrats to Kelly and Brandy.
Get money.
Kelly’s show has been done way too many times before. Boring. I’ll check out Brandy’s though.
Death to all sing competition shows.
i have to agree with you. i rather see kelly in a drama or a comedy show. enough of this finding the next best thing. focus on building a career. didnt michelle just do something like this before? her hubby her manager, he need to do a better job.
I usually don’t watch BET but I will because Kelly and Brandy are my boo’s and I will support.
Being Mary Jane was boring this season. Off Topic, but it had to be said.
I didn’t even bother to watch this season. Gabrielle got on my nerves before it started and I couldn’t be bother giving her 60 minutes of my time.
Good for them. I see BET is trying to get it together.
I’m happy for them. And with it being the final season of The Game, it makes sense to keep Brandy around.
Nope.
I’m just glad it’s not another ratchet reality show. I was about to run on here and say they are too good for that.
