In the beginning of his rap career, Snoop Dogg had a lot of questionable lyrics about women, but now the emcee says life as a husband and father has changed his views on women.
He tells Sky News:
“What’s changed for me is that I have a family, I have a different perspective and view on life, I have more concern with life. Twenty years ago I didn’t have no responsibilities, I was an ex-gang member who was still affiliated with gangs. I was hard headed and didn’t listen. I had nothing to live for but me.
“Definitely my attitude has changed towards women. I am more sensitive and more vulnerable writing-wise and accepting a woman for being a beautiful person, as opposed to me saying she is a bitch or whore because that was how I was trained when I first started. As I grew I fell in love with my wife and started to love my mother, my grandmother and my daughter. I understood what a woman was and I started to write about and express that.”

Good. But wasn’t he just calling Iggy everything but a child of God on Instagram?
God knows I loathe Iggy, but you’re right….he was.
Right.
Yeah he definitely called her a b word multiple times and that was just a few months ago.
I guess.
That’s nice but he should have been taught to respect women from jump.
Good for him… Now he needs to teach these other artists coming up… The lyrics to songs are just getting worse when regarding women.
Lets see if he will set & live by this standard ….
That is what personal growth is all about. Love Snoop.
Nice.
