Many fans of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” have been asking for Sheree Whitfield’s return to the hit reality show for years and now that NeNe Leakes is out, sources from Bravo inform E! News that the former star is in talks to return for season eight.
E! writes:
She’s (maybe) back! Shereè Whitfield is in talks to return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta, multiple sources have confirmed to E! News, and now we have one very important question: Who gon’ check her, boo? It’s unclear what type of role she’d have, but we know discussions are happening. The new season is not filming yet.
Seriously, who will check Shereè if she returns? The cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta’s upcoming eighth season has not been confirmed yet, but we know NeNe Leakes will not return (at least as a full-time peach-carrying Housewife) and Claudia Jordan is also off the show as a main Housewife. Phaedra Parks, Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss and Kenya Moore made up the rest of the season seven cast.
I knew they would do this once Nene walked.
They’re thinking they need an original housewife to take her place.
I’m here for it. Sheree was one of my faves.
They should have done this seasons ago. I really think Bravo has no idea what to do anymore and they are throwing anything at the wall to see what will stick.
A couple of seasons ago I would be all for this but we already know what Sheree brings to the table Bravo needs to bring in some fresh new faces. Bravo is panicking and its so obvious.
I don’t know…I like Sheree but what will her storyline be? Does she have anything interesting in her life going on worthy of filming? We’ll see.
Now what will Sheree bring to the show NOW?

Not at all. I’m sure Carlos is somewhere smirking right now like he isn’t the one who messed up the show in the first place.
Right. I don’t care what anyone says. He’s the one who ruined everything with his Love & Hip Hop bs.
I don’t think Sheree or Regine can save the show. It’s a sinking ship and Carlos King bares most of the blame.
I think it’s too late for her to come back. She had great one liners, but I can’t even see her getting along with anyone left. She fell out with Phaedra, I can’t see her getting along with Porsha or Kenya, and Kandi may not be her cup of tea at this point either. And she probably won’t like Cynthia from past issues that took place when Cynthia was Nene’s bestie. Maybe she will get along with Kim Fields, but it will be weird.
I have a feeling season 8 will be terrible. These producers are so confused on what to do.
What’s up with Bravo constantly bringing these non-housewives to the show? Sheree finally has a finished house….that’s it! She brings nothing to the table except a one-liner from years past and a nonexistent fashion line.

I’m one of the people who wanted Sheree back since she was fired. But seasons 5 and 6 were perfect to me like everyone just worked and you could see they all balanced each other out. Season 7 ruined the chemistry. It was too many petty fights and I didn’t like the division. I remember when it was the Talls vs. the Smalls, and I hated that too. They have to go back to finding the right balance of drama and peace. Sheree is cool, but she can’t fix the pettiness issue.
Ummmmm just becuz she finally finished her house from like 10yrs ago…doesn’t mean they need her on the show. What is she going to talk about?????? her kids finally wearing name brand shoes and sleeping in a REAL bed?
They are so shook and they know RHOA is on its last leg. Nene leaving is just the beginning of the inevitable. It was good while it lasted.
Not a good move. Everyone wants to see Sheree back because of the potential for drama but as the saying goes “You can’t throw shade to the b**** holding the umbrella.” Sheree’s delusions, failed business venture(s), and recent financial troubles leave her very vulnerable. She should be far more humble now, and by humble I mean quiet. Bravo needs to go back to the drawing board.
Nostalgia has people wanting Sheree back especially since Nene is gone, but she needs to stay where she’s at. All she will contribute to the show is more cattiness and I think that’s what killed the show last season.
They are running out of ideas and it’s hilarious. NeNe left right on time.
This won’t happen because Sheree’s delusional a-s is going to demand $1 million.
So this is for real? Usually when they say this it’s just Sheree trying to slide her way back in but it’s coming from E and Bravo and E are owned by NBC Universal so yeah, this is legit. I still like Sheree. I think she would drive Kenya nuts and it would be awesome!!
