R&B singer Chris Brown was the victim to a home invasion, and it resulted in his aunt being locked inside a closet.
TMZ writes:
Chris Brown’s house was hit early Wednesday morning in a home invasion robbery and the robbers held his aunt at gunpoint, locked her in a closet and turned the place upside down … TMZ has learned.
It went down at around 2:00 AM at the San Fernando Valley house Chris just bought. Three armed men forced their way in the house and found the aunt, put a gun in her face and ordered her into the closet. Law enforcement tells us the home invaders then ransacked the house, took money and other property and fled.
The aunt called 911 and cops raced to the scene, but the robbers were long gone.
Chris was at a club while the robbery took place and sources tell TMZ his mother Joyce Hawkins is convinced the whole thing was orchestrated by some of Chris’ shady friends.
UPDATE: TMZ is now claiming Chris’ baby mama Nia Guzman is worried about Royalty’s safety amid robbery details being released:
Sources close to Nia Guzman tell TMZ … she thinks many of Chris’ friends are gang members or gang-affiliated, and the robbery shows they’ve now turned on Chris. We’re told she’s not cool with Royalty being around that element.
As we first reported … Chris’ mother also thinks last night’s hit was an inside job.
It’s bad timing for Chris. He just filed docs asking a judge to hammer out a formal custody agreement — partly because he says Nia’s been denying him visits with Royalty.
If the court sees things Nia’s way it could affect custody.
Chris is blessed no one was hurt. He needs to get rid of all of his thuggish friends.
He never will. Remember he said he hates to be alone.
This is the second time that someone has broken into his home. He needs to beef up security. Thank goodness his aunt wasn’t harmed.
Hopefully he will stop being a faux thug… real thugs marked him & he got got. I hope his aunt is ok though, she did nothing to deserve that.
You always have to watch the company you keep.
So it happened while he was away. Yeah, someone he knows was in on it.
Well his mom tried to warn him about Kid Red and them but he still won’t listen. When you have money and fame, you really have to be careful who you put in your circle.
I believe his friends did it too. They don’t care about Chris’ well being because if they did, they would be trying to convince him to get his ish together. That’s what real friends do.
Damn homie. And he may want to start listening to his moms. They be knowing.
He always has too many people around him and in his house. That’s an invitation to robbers.
As soon as he started posting pics of his house on IG I knew it was only a matter of time before he got robbed. And they’re saying that based on the little that the robbers took, that this burglary is looking more and more suspicious.
This can only be Chris’ ignorant gang banging friends.
A mess. He better than God no one was killed.
Scary.
Sh-t she’s supposed to be better? B-tch didn’t even know who the father was for several months. Every adult in this situation is a dysfunctional piece of sh-t.
LOL. I don’t think Royalty is that much safer with Nia but ok. I get irresponsible adult vibes from Chris, NIa and her boyfriend.

Me neither- do I think she is using this as an excuse to get full custody? Yes
Nia has a lot of issues but I can’t fault her for this. And then on top of that, Chris himself throws up gang signs all the time. He’s not any different from the company he keeps.
And it begins.
This is just a smart way to keep him from getting primary or joint custody.
