Last night social media exploded after it was confirmed Derrick Rose is being sued by his alleged ex-girlfriend because she’s accusing him of drugging and gang r*ping her.
However, the NBA star is denying it all and his lawyer claims the young woman is just out to get money.
TMZ writes:
Lisa Cohen, a rep for Rose’s legal team, tells TMZ Sports the lawsuit is “an attempt to shake down a highly respected and successful athlete.”
Cohen adds the plaintiff and the Chicago Bulls superstar were in a “non-exclusive, consensual sexual relationship for over two years” … and there were never any complaints until lawyers started telling her to go after Rose for a payday. Cohen claims this is the third attorney the plaintiff hired to sue Rose.
…Cohen says, “We have complete confidence that the case will be dismissed and that Mr. Rose will be vindicated. This lawsuit is outrageous.”
And it begins.

So she ran through two other attorneys already? Yeah this isn’t a good look for her. It’s scary to think how far some people will go to get paid. Meanwhile real r-pe victims are afraid to speak up.

I’m still neutral until I find out more facts but if Derrick is lying he should go to jail but if this accuser is lying she should go to jail as well you can’t go accusing somebody for rape with no consequences. Real talk if she is lying or not his brand has taken a hit.

People were already doubting her because she didn’t press charges but is asking for money.
I’m wondering why this girl is considered a liar, but everyone believes the women from the Cosby situation from over 20 years ago… Who cares when it happened- if it happened- everyone has the right to shine light on their abuser. I hope he didn’t do it, but I’m not going to think she is a liar just because it took her too long to file charges.
People are really getting in their feelings about this when they haven’t had their day in court yet? Let’s just wait and see what happens before we get emotional and take sides. Weirdos.

I don’t believe her at all! If she wasn’t too ashamed to sue for money why didn’t she press charges as well? She was afraid to tell about the rape to the police but not to a civil judge? Yes she better come with some evidence because I’m not convinced.
Her story has so many holes. So he kicked in her apartment door but he was actually injured at the time? Ma’am.
