Kordell Stewart Clears Things Up

According to Kordell, the accusations are BS because he’s never met Andrew Caldwell before.

However, when asked if he’s contemplating suing Caldwell, the former NFL player is unsure.

BET writes:

Kordell Stewart is no stranger to gay rumors, but this time, the allegations are specific. Remember “delivert” viral video star Andrew Caldwell, who declared that he “don’t like mens” anymore? Well, he claims he made an exception for the one-time Real Housewives of Atlanta regular.

Stewart, of course, is vehemently denying Caldwell’s claims they hooked up and may even be looking into his legal options against the small-time star. “I don’t know the guy. I’ve never heard of him. There’s no room in my personality for that lifestyle. It’s not what I believe in. I’m a heterosexual man,” he tells TMZ. He also says be believes that Caldwell defamed him but is “unsure” if he wants to sue.

  1. What’s to be unsure about? He defamed you with some pretty serious accusations, you sue! Or is it because ol Andrew can go hunt for the dude Kordell was supposedly caught with in the car with when he was busted if they go to court? Hmmmmm!

    1. That’s exactly what it is. When you try to sue for defamation, you have to prove that the person is lying and trying to ruin your image. And most of the times you have to tell your own business to win the suit. Kordell clearly wants to keep some things hidden.

  2. He’s unsure he wants to sue because buddy can probably produce pictures, texts, phone records, and everything else of him Eddie Longing ole boy to keep quiet.

    1. If he or anyone else could have produced evidence of that sort, it’s be out by now. You know this already.

  3. LMAO MAJOR SIDE EYE……….WHY HE EVEN SAID ANYTHING??………OH WELL HE NEEDS TO COME ALL THE WAY OUT OF THE CLOSET. I DESPISE DOWN LOW MEN…GLAD HE ENDED THINGS WIT PORSHA B4 SHE CAUGHT HIM IN ANY DAMNING ACTS OR FOUND ANY DAMNING EVIDENCE ON HIM

  4. So just because he doesn’t want his entire life picked through by drama hungry vultures in an attempt to conduct a witch hunt he’s suddenly suspect? Furthermore, the burden of proof is on the accuser, not the accused.

  5. Suing for defamation is hard. Like really, really hard for celebrities.

    I found this on the web on some legal website:

    Defamation law changes as you cross state borders, but there are normally some accepted standards that make laws similar no matter where you are. If you think that you have been the victim of some defamatory statement, whether slander or libel, then you will need to file a lawsuit in order to recover. Generally speaking, in order to win your lawsuit, you must show that:

    1. Someone made a statement;
    2. that statement was published;
    3. the statement caused you injury;
    4. the statement was false; and
    5. the statement did not fall into a privileged category.

    This is why Kordell won’t sue. It’s really hard to win and the case will bring more attention to the gay rumors.

    1. Well in that case he should’ve said “I am not fond of the nasty rumors and as of right now I am currently consulting advice from my legal team in the correct approach to this matter” how he stated stuff he’s coming off as a deer caught in headlights
