“Real Housewives of Atlanta” is officially back for its eighth season, and many wondered how the show’s premiere would do ratings wise since NeNe Leakes is not a peach holder this time around.
Well the numbers are officially in for season eight’s first episode.
And according to TV by the Numbers, the premiere pulled in 2.968 million viewers.
So how does that compare to premieres of past seasons? Click next for the details.
Flop.
Now that’s a reach.
Def not a flop. These numbers are good but they aren’t exceptional hence why Nene was asked to come back.
Not bad and it’s still the most watched show on Bravo but Nene leaving did hurt the ratings. It’s going to be interesting to see what the ratings look like as the season progresses.
True! If it the producers were so worried that they invited Nene back then I don’t hold out much hope for the ratings during the rest of the season.
The ratings aren’t even bad.
Twirl the ratings aren’t bad but they are a huge drop from last season. This is why Nene was asked back sugar foot.
Bwahaha! Not “sugar foot”? Lmao!
They didn’t get a rating from my house. I’m not here for Bravo and I’m especially not here for Carlos antics. I can’t stand half the cast anyways so why would I watch. Reading the comments on here will suffice.
I expected it to at least be 3 million.
The ratings will get better.
Poor Kenya! Wasn’t she supposed to bring in the fans and raise the ratings now that Nene had left? Bwahahaha!
Well Kenya is one of the reasons you watch though sis.
Girl step away from the wine and stop playing. If Kenya was never on that show I wouldn’t miss her and you know it. You tried it tho! Lol!
LOL!
Decent but not great.
I expect the ratings to keep going down. It didn’t get good until Sheree came on and Sheree may not get a lot of scenes so that means it won’t get good until Nene comes back and that’s the end of the season.
Hmm it’s better than I thought.
These ratings aren’t impressive at all. I think more people actually watch Love & Hip Hop Hollywood believe it or not. RHOA used to bring in a cool 4 million an episode and a flop was considered 3 million for them. This show has fallen off.
I dont think NeNe is the reason for the ratings drop. Some people just may be tired of the nonsense. I am so I dont tune it. How much fighting and arguing can one tolerate
