Spike Lee has always been vocal about his issues with the movers and shakers in Hollywood, and the legendary film maker feels they don’t try enough to make the industry more diverse.
Spike and many others of color in the industry have noticed that there’s very little black writers and studio heads and it shows in the lack of quality roles for people of color.
Even though Spike Lee just received an honorary Oscar, that didn’t stop him from calling out Hollywood during his acceptance speech.
