Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict’s marriage made headlines several months ago because some folks were thinking Keke Palmer was crushing on him while they filmed and promoted their movie, “Brotherly Love.”
Although Cory and Keke eventually cleared up the rumors and confirmed nothing scandalous popped off, Tia is back in the news because she’s opening up about how she and Cory have managed to keep their marriage in a good place despite being working actors.
Interestingly enough, Tia claims not having gender roles is a main reason they have a great marriage.

My husband and I have come to the same conclusion. Marriage should be a partnership. When someone has too much on their plate, you see what you can take away to put on yours.
I agree. And that applies to all couples, married or not.
This is a grown folk’s marriage. Some men ain’t secure enough to understand this.
I love them together.
Basically you have to be a helpmate and not let your ego get in the way.

I like that…that’s the type of relationship I want. My BF and I are going thru issues now because I haven’t cut his nails in so long. I haven’t washed the clothes in a couple of weeks. I haven’t ironed his uniforms…Meanwhile he gets off work before me. A lot of times I have to come home cook and clean too. And I am getting tired of doing that shyt…like I am feeling like a slave…and I was also feeling if that was what marriage is about then I don’t want it.
