‘Scandal’ + ‘How to Get Away with Murder’ Decline in Ratings

TGIT started off as a certified success for ABC, but these days “Grey’s Anatomy” seems to be the only show in the lineup that’s still standing firm.

TV by the Numbers writes:

ABC’s TGIT shows returned lower than their fall averages Thursday, although it was still a big upgrade from the fill-in programming of recent weeks. “Grey’s Anatomy” fared best with a 2.4 rating in adults 18-49, down a tenth from its fall finale. “Scandal” (2.1) was down 0.3, while “How to Get Away with Murder” fell half a point to 1.8, tying its series low.

  1. I think the whole lineup has become a bit ridiculous. Greys anatomy used to be my show but my goodness how much bad luck can one person have. Scandal is irritating to me now…the fast talking, and same damn back and forth have become a nuisance. And HTGAWM needs a new lighting director that show is mad dark. I fall asleep in the middle of Grey’s and then its a wrap. I feel like tv needs new shows all around.
