R&B singer Tyrese is getting his feet wet as a talk show host, and his controversial views on love and relationships is a perfect fit for his new show with Rev. Run, “It’s Not You, It’s Men.”

Both made an appearance on “The Doctors” recently, and Tyrese had no problems explaining why he won’t date a celibate woman.

  1. I don’t think any woman following God would even want Tyrese. I’m sure they would be wise enough to have higher standards. Just saying.

  2. It’s always so funny to me how these Christian men like Rev. Run always love to tell women how they should wait for marriage but you rarely catch them telling men to do the same. This isn’t about helping women. This is about controlling women.

    1. I have to agree. Why aren’t men lectured about saving themselves for marriage like women are? Do they not have to value their bodies? And why not? I’d love for one of them to explain that to me without the usual “well men are wired to be whores” propaganda.

    2. I think he is directing that comment to women because there are more of us speaking about celibacy. Men (most/many)are still hounds, sniffing anything they can.

  3. He is so ignorant. I’m sure the divorce rate wouldn’t be impacted if people had s-x before they married each other. Whether you marry bad s-x or a bad person – if it doesn’t work, it just doesn’t work.

  4. Who made Tyrese a relationship expert? And it takes way more than good s-x for a relationship to work. He wouldn’t know that though since he’s had so many failed relationships.

  5. This talk show is everything I thought it would be. Nothing but men telling women what they need to do to please men. Like everything revolves around men. Relationships are a two way street. It would be nice if relationship advice didn’t always focus so much on what women need to do. We’re not the only ones who benefit from relationships.

  6. To each their own. I can’t judge a relationship based off that. My childhood friend had s-x with her now husband of 10 years on their third date. Lol.. My co worker who is a true Christian along with her husband waited until the night of her wedding and he ended up cheating on her 4 months into the marriage. In no way do I say Tyrese is right but to each their own.

  7. I wish women would stop listening to all these unqualified people’s relationship advice. If you want to be celibate, do you and have faith the right man will come along and honor that. If you don’t want to wait for marriage, just make sure that you aren’t wasting your time on the wrong type of men that will make you regret that choice. The best way to a successful relationship is being with someone who has the same morals you do and respects you.

  8. S-x isn’t the end all be all but when both people are satisfied, it helps. And it’s probably best for celibate people to date other celibate people.

  9. Tyrese is an idiot and Rev Run has antiquated views…two chauvinist at different ends of the spectrum. Ladies do what you want with your body just make sure youre doing it for you and not to appeal to someone else’s needs.

  10. At least he is being honest. A lot of men would say they are ok with waiting until a few days go by and they can’t wait no more.instead of telling you they will find someone to fawk. Leaving you in the dark

  11. LOL…bad s*x from a woman????? I think bad s*x really falls on the man in my opinion….they can have a nice size Disney and can’t move, or they can’t eat the peach correctly……I never heard a man say “her s*x is bad” as women we can just lay there and the sex still wouldn’t add up to bad in my opinion lol

OAN: Rev Run should’ve been drilling that crap into his own daughters head..Nessa had her child out of wed-lock and I am sure her baby daddy wasn’t the 1st…and Angela been having s*x since they show was on tv so w/e
