According to E! News, Chris is being investigated thanks to a woman accusing him of pulling a gun on her a few weeks ago in his home:
E! News has learned that child protective services have launched an investigation targeting the star following his highly publicized gun assault arrest late last month.
A source closed to the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services tells NBC News that they paid a visit to Brown’s home today to check on his 2-year-old daughter Royalty, who is said to be staying with him right now.
Chris responded to the story on Baller Alert’s Instagram page and it didn’t take long for Nia to clap back. Interestingly enough, Chris made some serious accusations about Nia:

Nia just wants money and used royalty as a meal ticket.. i agree with chris totally he might has issues of his own but when it comes down to full custody like forwhat?? He is a good father that she has stated before.. Money is all she wants..

It’s his fault he should have never asked for a DNA test and continued to let Brazil play around like he was the daddy. He was the one who started the paternity stuff not Nia Squarepantsz. He wanted what he got.
