We told you sources were claiming there were holes in Chris Brown’s accuser’s story, and now TMZ claims it’s likely things won’t move forward:
Sources close to the investigation tell us … the reason the case has not gone forward is that the D.A. is unimpressed with the evidence assembled by cops. As we reported, the case was supposed to be submitted to prosecutors 2 weeks ago but the D.A. informally kicked it back for lack of evidence.
TMZ broke the story … Baylee Curran claimed Chris pulled a gun on her and ordered her to leave during a party at his home in August. Brown was arrested and booked … he was supposed to be arraigned 2 weeks ago but authorities got a 2-week extension so they could gather more evidence.
They didn’t.
It should have been dropped. It’s obvious that chick was lying. But if Chris doesn’t learn to keep strangers out of his house, he will just get in trouble again.
They have nothing. No need to keep dragging this out.
I forgot about this. I know the prosecutors want Chris locked up but if there’s no evidence, there’s no evidence. He was clearly set up and lied on.
Why is TMZ so obsessed with Chris?
Because he calls them out on their bs and they don’t like it. Lol.
I thought it was dropped already. I know the hate for Chris is real but if he didn’t do it, let it go. He needs to sue that girl for lying.
