Columbia’s Solange is now in the running for the #1 position on our SPS chart this Friday with her A Seat at the Table, trending considerably better than most new releases. Monday marked the album’s biggest sales day yet, an indicator of strong word of mouth for the R&B set, which is earning critical acclaim as well (and has been sitting in the #1 spot at iTunes for a while now). I love Weary, Cranes in the Sky and Don’t Touch My Hair. Musically this has been a great year for me. Lemonade and A Seat at the Table are masterpieces.
