I don’t think a lot of people even knew it was coming back on this week.
And a lot of people have been out protesting the election as well.
Yeah the day after Donald Trump wins the presidency, I don’t think people were in the mood for Empire.
I think the real test will be how it does next week now that everyone knows the hiatus is over.

Empire is the last thing people have on their mines. People should be more in tune to what is about to happen in this country instead of watching Empire. smfh
I didn’t even knw it went on hiatus..I don’t even knw what day it comes on LOL…I just catch it on demand when I get a chance
The election makes it easy to forget Empire. Ratings should be better next week. A lot of us are still trying to emotionally move on that America just elected a reality star and former escort for president and first lady.
I haven’t watched since the first half of season 2. The writing was terrible.

I’m glad when that show promoting homosexuality is cancelled
