In a recent interview with Streetz 94.5, Yandy opened up about her non official marriage to Mendeecees.
She defended not being legally married and thinks people shouldn’t make a big fuss over them not signing a marriage certificate before he got locked up.
She says:
“You not going tell me how much I love mines.
“I’ve been committed to this man for a very long time. Y’all can harp on this piece of paper that is signed by Donald Trump… Y’all think that makes me committed to this man, y’all some damn fools.
“If the world doesn’t know my commitment level to that man and think it’s a piece of paper that’s going to do that y’all got me [f***ed] up.”

Wait, I’m confused. So she said a marriage certificate is just a piece of paper signed by Trump and means nothing when it comes to commitment, but being Mendeecees’ wife was the one thing she kept throwing in Samantha and Erica’s faces? So what is the truth? *side eye*
This. She doesn’t even believe half of the crap she vomited out during this interview because the first thing she’s going to do when her jail bird gets out is sign that “paper” she claims not to be pressed about.
Amen. And this comment is everything seeing how she was so disrespectful to his baby mamas last night. She told one they were just a jump off, and then accuses the other of being a deadbeat mom all while pretending to be so concerned for the kids. I’m sure the kids won’t be happy to see Yandy dogging out their mothers on TV when they get older. But she’s supposed to be better than them both but out here lying about being married. I think all of them look crazy right now. But if you go on Twitter, most people swear Yandy is winning and #lifegoals. Weird.
So now that we know she’s not really married, marriage is just a piece of paper and not that serious. Whatever Yandy.
Is this woman serious? No one was making a big deal out of marriage but her! She’s the one who wanted that big ole lavish wedding on TV and keeps sticking that ring in people’s faces and when they call her out on her sh-t. But now a marriage certificate is just a piece of paper. Yeah right.
I used to love me some Yandy. But I really think she’s been annoying and pretentious this season. She is the one who made a big deal out of a marriage that isn’t even real. She put herself on some imaginary pedestal because at the end of the day, she’s just a baby mama too. They aren’t married.
I wish she would just shut the f-ck up. They ain’t married and ain’t no defending that sh-t when you and your prison bae had a big a-s wedding paid by VH1. They conned everyone and now they want to try to downplay marriage now that people are looking at them sideways.

If marriage is just a piece of paper then she need not call her baby daddy her HUSBAND and stop referring to herself as a WIFE. Those names should be reserved for people that actually signed that piece of paper. You can’t diminish marriage then turn around and want to use the labels. GTFOH.
