According to reports, Trey Songz was not happy when his performance was shut down, so he trashed the stage equipment until police came to lock him away.
Fox 2 Detroit writes:
Trey Songz was arrested Wednesday night after a concert in Detroit, Detroit police said.
The 32-year-old artist performed at Joe Louis Arena as a part of the “Big Show at the Joe.”
Police said the performer, whose legal name is Tremaine Neverson, became belligerent when he was told his performance time was up.
Police said he then began throwing microphones and anything else he could get his hands on, causing Detroit Police officers to enter the stage, in an attempt to calm the situation.
A Detroit Police sergeant was hit by an object thrown by the artist and suffered a concussion. The sergeant has since been released from the hospital.
