Robin Thicke and Paula Patton Duke It out in Court + Make Serious Accusations (UPDATE)

According to reports, Paula and Robin are fighting over custody of their son, and both are making some very serious accusations.

Page Six writes:

Robin Thicke has been accused of physically abusing his six-year-old son, according to new legal documents filed in the custody battle with ex-wife Paula Patton.

In papers seen by TMZ it’s alleged that the pair’s son Julian told teachers that the pop star, 39, “spanked” and “punched” him on numerous occasions, and that the school reported his comments to Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services on Jan. 3.

The documents go on to claim that Patton, 41, stopped Thicke from seeing their child, telling him, “Julian is scared of you.”

The website alleges that actress Patton filed an emergency restraining order which states her ex can only see his son during daytime supervised visits.

However, the “Blurred Lines” singer has hit back at the allegations and states in documents that both he and Paula agreed on punishment that was “consistent with the law.”

“On a very rare occasion and only as a last resort, I will use light spanking, but it is consistent with the law – open hand on the butt. This is the type of discipline to which Paula and I agreed during our marriage,” he says. “I have never exceeded age-appropriate discipline, and thus never been an issue, nor has it been raised by Paula previously.”

Thicke then claimed Patton’s allegations were a result of not being invited to his father Alan Thicke’s funeral last month.

According to the court documents, Robin claims Paula had a terrible relationship with his father Alan Thicke, and she has said some not so nice things about them in the past, so she wasn’t invited to the funeral.

UPDATE: According to TMZ, Robin called the cops on Paula on Friday.

TMZ writes:

Robin Thicke brought the cops to Paula Patton’s home Friday morning because she allegedly violated their custody order by not allowing him to take their son … but the video dramatically shows Robin walked away empty-handed.

TMZ broke the story … Robin won a victory in court Thursday when a judge refused to limit his custody to daytime monitored visits … this after the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services launched an investigation into allegations Robin was using excessive corporal punishment on 6-year-old Julian.

We’re told Robin called Paula after the hearing to take Julian for the night — which the custody order allows him to do — but she went radio silent.

On Friday morning Robin went to Paula’s Malibu home with L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies and the court order. We’re told the deputies went inside the house and spoke with Julian and he said he was scared of his dad and didn’t want to go with him.

You see Paula in the video — obtained by TMZ. Robin is out of frame. The deputies explain they will not take the child against his will.

  1. So they wait til they are divorced to be messy like this? I wonder what happened because they had a very clean split.

      1. You think so? I think Robin is the problem and he always has been. Let’s not forget he’s the reason they got divorced in the first place. And instead of getting himself together after the divorce, he hops right into another serious relationship and never acknowledged he’s the problem. What Paula is claiming i s very believable.

  2. Now we already know Robin ain’t sh-t but there’s been moments when I wondered if Paula was on coke her damn self. Both of them are a hot a-s mess to be real.

  3. It’s been my experience that when one person wants to work things out but the other can’t take the BS anymore, that’s when the kid(s) involved become the revenge pawn of the party who’s wrong. You never really know a person until they get mad
