Days before Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks faced off against the Atlanta Falcons in a highly anticipated playoff game, many in the media were suspecting that the DJ at the Georgia Dome could be spiteful and play some of Future’s music just to be messy.
Interestingly enough, the rapper actually showed up to the game and watched it from the sidelines (Bow Wow too).
So it’s no surprise that a loss for Seattle turned into a meme situation for Russell and Future.
Some Seattle fans are even blaming the loss on Russell because the Falcons stripped the ball from him towards the end of the game just as the Hawks were picking up some momentum.
But Russell and Ciara remain unbothered by the internet pettiness:
As for Future, sources close to the rapper tell TMZ that he didn’t attend the game to be petty:
Obviously, with the history between Future and Russ (and Ciara) — it was verrrry interesting to see the rapper on the sidelines opposite the Seahawks QB at the NFL playoff game in ATL on Saturday.
But a source close to Future says the rapper is adamant his appearance was not meant to be a shot at his ex’s husband.
We’re told he’s tight with a bunch of Falcons players — especially stud receiver Julio Jones — so that’s why he was invited to the game … and he’ll probably go this coming Sunday too.
Our sources say Future and Ciara are cordially co-parenting their kid these days … and Future isn’t trying to rock the boat.

My thing is I love RussCi together but Russell has to show up for the big games no matter who is on the sideline. And I don’t believe he lost because Future was there. He lost because Atlanta is the better team hands down.
LMBO at Future’s fans thinking his presence had anything to do with that loss. Atlanta is a good team and they were not going to lose to Seattle period. Green Bay will be a challenge though.
They are so delusional. Just like they swear he ain’t thinking about Ciara. Yet he is always going out his way to be petty towards her and Russell. He can stay pressed though.
I don’t doubt Future was trying to be petty but him being there isn’t why Russell lost. I can’t believe how many people keep sleeping on the Falcons this season. They are a very good team.

Why would they be bothered they seem genuinely happy.Seattle been struggling the last couple of games they aren’t the same team they use to be no way they were going to keep up with ATL. Falcons have had a great season and imo Matt Ryan should be the MVP.

I love them together and I’m happy she finally moved on from that bum Future. I was worried about her for a second but she woke up and upgraded.
I just want people to put some respek on the Falcons name. Seahawks didn’t really have a chance anyway.
