The other day the internet went wild after folks started suspecting Nicki Minaj took shots at Remy Ma in her latest song with Gucci Mane, but Remy responded the next day with a track of her own.
“ShETHER” is Remy’s take on Nas’ classic diss track penned to Jay Z, and most can agree that the lyrics are pretty brutal.
Remy made a lot of accusations about Nicki, including who she has slept with in the industry.
Not only did Remy accuse Nicki of sleeping with Trey Songz but she also claimed Nicki cheated on Safaree with Hot 97’s Ebro.
Ebro took to Twitter to deny the accusations but Papoose, Remy’s husband, checked him swiftly (screenshot via Baller Alert):
This is why I don’t like Remy’s diss record. 95% of it is about who Nicki slept with. That’s lame to me.
Well keep in mind that one of the first things Pac said in Hit Em Up is he slept with Faith, and it’s still a classic. All Nicki has to do is come much harder.
This is true. The ball is in Nicki’s hands. She can either stay true to Hip Hop and respond with a track of her own or take the L and keep talking about album sales.
Nicki needs to stop trying to get all these people to defend her honor and get her butt back in the studio.

Honestly, Remy needs to get back in the studio as well. Now she can clown Nicki all she wants for various reasons but Nicki still has the career Remy wishes she had. I don’t believe for a second Remy is satisfied being on Love & Hip Hop and making flop albums with Fat Joe. She wants more for herself and this is the most relevance she’s ever had. If she doesn’t build off that and get away from Mona, it would be a huge waste.
