  1. So he’s just going to rewrite Nicki’s history? BedRock as the song that put Nicki on people’s radars. That came out in November 2009. My Chick Bad came out in June 2010, and it was a much bigger hit than Bottoms Up which came out July 2010. Trey needs to ask himself why after all these years, he still hasn’t had mainstream success.

  2. Like Keke says, but the gag is Nicki is the best part of the song. I know it’s the in thing to hate Nicki now, but this is getting really corny. Grown men are doing the most to discredit this woman.

    1. That’s what I can’t ride with Remy. There is no way in hell I’m going to ever side with f-ck boys like Safaree, Meek and Charlamagne.

  3. The song would not have been a hit without Nicki. This was around the time white girls started stanning for her. Have a seat Trey.

    1. Exactly! I only liked the song for Nicki’s verse. I remember being in the club and getting my entire life when her verse came on. Same thing with Monster. Her parts made both songs. Nicki got lazy and doesn’t try as much anymore, but Trey can’t take credit for a song she made a hit. Nicki had it right. She’s the reason it went platinum. Trey was never a big time artist like that.

  4. Is something in the water to cause all these n-ggas to be complete b-tches now? Sh-t has become an epidemic.

  5. Sigh…Trey needs to worry about his own career. He’s the one who is out here resorting to fake reality shows and tearing up his own stage equipment for attention. Nicki may have lost the rap beef to Remy, but she is still doing much better than he is.

  6. And what hit does Mr. Yodel himself have outside of Bottoms Up, a song Nicki made popular? He’s mad because he feels Nicki was being arrogant, but he ain’t humble his damn self. At least Nicki actually has receipts of being successful so her arrogance is justified. Trey is talking with his chest poked out like he was on Usher’s level but even Breezy surpassed him, drug addiction and all.

  7. This is why Nicki needed to stay off Twitter. By liking shady tweets and going after Trey, she has extended the shelf life of this situation with Remy.

  8. Nah, Nicki had a huge following from her mix tapes and that is why Bottoms Up was such a success. You don’t have to like her to call it what it is.

  9. Neither made the other but I do feel like Nicki is the reason the song became a hit. Her verse was well liked. Even MC Lyte got on Twitter to tweet about how dope it was.
